Why Are These Blocks So Special?

Made with Love

We carefully cut an finish each and every Harrison Block by hand, producing a smooth finish that preserves the character of the Hard Maple.

From Local Sources

We source our wood from a nearby sawmill that has been in operation since 1858. We select the hardest Hard Maple stock to ensure that your blocks will stand up to years of heavy-duty learning and play.

Perfectly Compatible

Harrison Blocks are carefully cut to match the standard 1 3/8" Unit Block size, so they can be used with other block sets to create amazing builds.

Canada's Best Blocks. Period.

When we set out to create our new Harrison Blocks, we wanted to make something that your family would cherish for generations.

High quality wooden blocks are, quite literally, the building blocks of wooden toy learning and play. Our unit blocks are carefully cut and precisely finished to match the standard 1 ⅜ proportions of the world’s best blocks, with a variety of shapes and designs that will inspire your little builders for hours.

Every set of Harrison Blocks comes with a building platform to help your young builders create sturdy builds on carpet or uneven surfaces, or to be used as a second level for big and ambitious builds.

We are inspired by trees, and the wood we use for our Harrison Blocks are what make them so magical. Our wood comes from a nearby family-run sawmill that has been in operation for more than 150 years. We select the best planks of sustainably felled Canadian Hard Maple; when you hold a Harrison Block in your hand you may be holding wood from a retired sugar maple stand. How sweet is that?

We are so proud of our blocks, and we can’t wait to see what your family creates with them. We are certain that you’ll love building with them as much as we’ve enjoyed creating them.
